- Total sales closed in April were 425 units (higher in March 2012 by 9% and higher than April 2011 by 5%)

- Median sale price was $374k in April (higher from March 2012 by 7% and higher than April 2011 by 1%)

- Average days on the market in April was 56 days which was lower than March by 8 days and lower than April 2011 by 17 days.

I wanted to share with you the statistics from April in Loudoun County that I thought will be useful for both buyers and sellers in todays' market.
  • Median Sale Price - $374k (higher than March 2012 of $350k and higher than April 2011 of $370k)
  • Total Closed Sales - 425 (higher than March 2012 of 390 and higher than April 2011 of 404)
  • Average Days on Market - 56 (lower than March 2012 of 64 and lower than April 2011 of 73)
  • Average Sale Price to Original Sale Price - 95.6% (same from March 2012 and same from April 2011)
